Ann Gibbon BA (Journalism),
Media Relations

Ann Gibbon is a Vancouver-based PR consultant specializing in media relations in Canada and the U.S. She brings more than 18 years reporting and business writing experience at Canada’s leading news organizations, including the CBC, CanWest Global and the Globe and Mail. Ann provides Harrison-Green’s clients with media training and counsel, prepares media materials, develops strong story angles, crafts key messages and develops website content, corporate DVDs and other products that help them get exposure in influential news outlets.

Ann has also served as senior account manager at NATIONAL Public Relations, providing strategic and crisis counsel, media training and media relations services to BC Rail, ICBC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Forest Industrial Relations and other clients.

Ann holds a Bachelors degree in journalism from Carleton University and has studied entrepreneurship at the B.C. Institute of Technology. She is fluent in English and French.

Scott Swan,
Trainer and Presentation Coach

Scott Swan has been a professional theatre director and teacher for over 30 years and has won numerous awards for his work. In addition to writing for both stage and television, Scott has served as a national radio drama producer for CBC, and acted in a number of plays, films, and television productions.

As an instructor, Scott was the Director of the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre School from 1987-1991 and has taught at The University of Alberta, UBC, and The Banff Centre, as well as Douglas and Kwantlen Colleges. In addition to teaching actors, Scott has helped senior management of numerous corporations, including ICBC, VanCity and Sun Life, to improve their public speaking and presentation skills.
